About WEA Trust

The Trust is a not-for-profit organization that provides insurance and financial services to Wisconsin’s public school employees. Created by the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) in 1970, the Trust offers members an alternative to commercial products.

A Board of Trustees—all public school employees—oversees Trust operations and serves without financial compensation. As educators, they understand the needs of public school employees, and are able to use that knowledge to ensure that Trust members get high quality and great value in insurance and financial services.

The Trust offers a broad range of health and wellness programs that spans the needs of all members—helping healthy people stay healthy, and providing support, comprehensive care management and benefit management to members with chronic or acute conditions.
